School Security

The safety and security of your child at school is of utmost importance.  Our site has several entrances and doors and it is important that we keep the site secure at all times.

The Telferscot Road entrance is our main entrance.

The Radbourne Road entrances will be open in the mornings until 9:15 and then again at 3:00pm.  This gate is closed again at 4:00pm.

During the school day the exterior doors to the school remain closed and locked.  School staff have keys so that the doors can be used for access from the exterior of the building.  The only point of access is the school office entrance. During play times there are always staff on duty and they will challenge any unknown adults on the premises.

Please do NOT enter the school building at any time other than the beginning or end of the day unless you first report to the office.  All visitors must sign in and wear a school badge.

We welcome all volunteers in school but ask that they sign the visitors book in the office when arriving at the school.  Please note that in accordance with safeguarding procedures, regular volunteers are expected to have a CRB check.  This can be arranged through the office.
