Family & friends were treated to a wonderful performance of Shakespeare Rocks for two nights last week. It was our first production that involves a cast of almost 60 children who took to the stage and did a brilliant job. ‘The Scottish play’ was mostly just referred to in this tuneful and dance filled performance by our Year 6’s based upon Bill Shakespeare and his company of performers. It’s staging had a distinctly gender-neutral feel which reflected the plays themes of girls, presenting as boys in order to play girls within Elizabethan theatre!
Thank you to Fara who kindly donated many of the floral dresses and ties used as the costumes and thank you to our wonderful staff, Music & dance teachers and Tracy our director who worked so hard to make it happen and it all come together!
Well done everyone who performed- we hope you take your love of creative learning with you on to your new schools!
