Forest schools

Children learn many things at Forest Schools, including how to whittle with potato peelers and learn how to make bug houses. Every Forest Schools lesson builds and lights a fire...and children also get to have cocoa.

Forest Schools lessons teach us to:

Build good self esteem.

Encourage communication and language development.

Provides a safe risk taking environment to help develop risk taking, problem solving and thinking skills.

What kinds of activities do we get up to at Forest Schools? Take a look at us learning how to plant carrots. We have also learnt about Beekeeping, Bug habitats & visited Rosendale Allotments to see how others grow!
