Arts Award

Every year our Year 6 class get an opportunity to do their arts award.

Arts Award is a nationally recognised qualification equivalent to GCSE level and is run by Trinity College London and the Arts Council England. Students can enter with a number of different creative arts skills from visual arts to drama, dance and music. Our standard is high for our students- their skills are also wide due to the amount of arts activities they get to take part in at all ages throughout our school.

We believe that entering Telferscot children in Arts Award enables them to go on their own creative journey whilst being supported by our specialist tutor and staff, giving them confidence to take with them to secondary schools and their futures.

This year we have been running a Summer School of Creative Arts on selected Saturdays through the summer term for families to join in together. Take a look at our 2016 Arts Award pupils' show and follow the creative journeys of our 2017 pupils.
